Peak, RMS and the crest that shows your real dynamic range. Balance and correlation for the stereo picture. LUFS, LRA, PSR and true-peak for delivery. Beneath the rail, an analyser page with the Dead Quiet spectrum, a loudness history, a goniometer, correlation by band and a BPM counter. Meeter puts every number that matters in one window, with the classic peak-and-RMS ballistics engineers trust and a null-clean, zero-latency signal path.

Peak and RMS with true analogue-style ballistics and the AES-17 convention, so your numbers line up with the reference meters you already trust. The centre column shows a slow-averaged crest, the floating dynamic-range readout that tells you how much life is left in the master; in LUFS mode it becomes PSR, coloured by density. Work K-System and the ruler relabels to K-20, K-14 or K-12.

Momentary, Short-term and Integrated LUFS to ITU-R BS.1770-4, with gated K-weighting, plus LRA, Max M, Max S and PLR for the whole pass. True Peak in dBTP with 4x oversampling and an over count, so inter-sample peaks can’t sneak onto a print. TP flashes red the moment an over is caught, and every over is logged with its level and the DAW’s bar and beat. Pick a streaming target and the Integrated readout tells you how far the service will turn you down.

Flip the whole rail from Left/Right to Mid and Side, switch RMS for LUFS, swap the ribbons for two real VU movements, and re-skin from light to dark. It re-reads instantly, so you can check the master the way you need to and match the meter to your room. Every mode is one click, and the look is saved with the plugin. Shown here in the light theme with the spectrum and FOCUS.
Meeter reports zero samples of latency and nulls silently against a bypassed copy. It reads your audio to draw the meter and passes it through untouched. The only time it adds delay is while you are auditioning true-peak overs, never on a clean pass.
Fold the output to mono, solo the side, flip the channels or isolate just the overs, so a clean pass auditions as near-silence and only the clipping speaks. Every fold is opt-in and off by default, and metering always reads the true, pre-monitor input. Your print stays untouched.
One click opens a second page beneath the rail. The Dead Quiet spectrum analyser in 1/12-octave bands, L/R or M/S, with a max-hold ghost and a FOCUS band you place by clicking. A loudness history that draws Short-term, Momentary and Integrated over the last 30 seconds to 10 minutes, with every over marked. A phosphor goniometer, and the correlation strip split into low, mid and high bands with a width readout for each.
A BPM counter measures the tempo of the audio itself to the nearest 0.5, with the host tempo beside it. The first over and the worst correlation are stamped with the DAW’s bar and beat, so you can jump straight to them, and COPY SUMMARY puts the whole pass on the clipboard, ready for a mastering note. The Mac Standalone also analyses a dropped file in seconds.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Peak + RMS | True analogue-style ballistics with the AES-17 convention, so your numbers match the meters you trust. |
| VU meters | Two real VU movements in place of the ribbons: 300 ms, the classic overshoot, an OL lamp, 0 VU at -18 dBFS or the K reference. |
| Dynamic range | A floating, slow-averaged crest readout, the loudness dynamic range that reveals how much life is in the master. |
| PSR / PLR / LRA | Short-term density, whole-pass peak-to-loudness and loudness range, with the densest moment held for the pass. |
| Balance | Left/right energy balance, 12L to 12R, drifting toward the louder side. |
| Correlation | Phase correlation from minus-one to plus-one, with a fast marker and a worst-case hold stamped with the bar and beat. |
| LUFS loudness | Momentary, Short-term and Integrated to ITU-R BS.1770-4, gated K-weighting, Max M and Max S. |
| True Peak | dBTP with 4x oversampling, an over count and a clip log. Turns red on an over. |
| Spectrum | The Dead Quiet analyser: 1/12-octave bands, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, max-hold ghost, L/R or M/S, hover to read. |
| History | S, M and I loudness over time, 30 s to 10 min, overs marked, target line drawn. |
| Goniometer | A phosphor scope of the stereo field, tinted red while the correlation is negative. |
| Correlation by band | LOW, MID and HIGH correlation, each with a side-to-mid width readout. |
| BPM counter | The tempo of the music itself, to 0.5 BPM, with x2 and /2 on a click. Host tempo shown beside it. |
| Scales & targets | dBFS or K-20 / K-14 / K-12. Streaming and broadcast targets colour the Integrated readout and show the playback gain. |
| Stereo / M-S | Flip the outer meters between Left/Right and Mid/Side. |
| Monitor folds | FLIP, L, R, Mid, Side, LOW, a sweepable FOCUS band, DIM and an overs delta, all opt-in for checking. |
| Zero latency | Analysis-only, bit-identical pass-through, nulls against a bypass. |
| Light / Dark | Re-skin the whole rail. Theme, zoom and layout are saved with the plugin. |
| Copy summary | The whole pass as plain text on the clipboard. The Mac Standalone analyses a dropped file in seconds. |
